Direct Primary Care
FAQs
-
What is DPC?Direct Primary Care (DPC) is membership based model of healthcare (like a gym membership for your doctor's office). Here's a video that provides a quick explanation to what DPC is:
-
Does Zamzam Wellness accept health insurance? No, we do not bill health insurance. We charge a flat monthly membership fee. You may use your insurance for pharmacy, labs, imaging, etc., but our self-pay rates may make your care even more affordable.
-
Do I need health insurance? We do recommend carrying health insurance to cover hospitalizations, surgeries, and other care that is not included in the membership fee. Zamzam Wellness is not an insurance plan and does not replace health insurance.
-
Can I cancel at any time? There are no commitments, and you may cancel at any time. When you're ready to cancel please email us and allow 24hrs for your membership to be cancelled. However, if you choose to join again, there is a $300 re-enrollment fee per member and you may be placed on a wait-list.
-
What if I need labs or imaging?Basic labs and imaging can be completed at lower negotiated cash rates through our partnerships. Members may also elect to use their insurance for coverage. We currently use Quest Labs and SimonMed Imaging.
-
Can I contact my doctor after hours?Yes. We understand that illness doesn’t always respect usual business hours. Therefore, as a member of Zamzam Wellness, you will be given access to Dr. DiLorenzo through a secure app for urgent concerns that come up unexpectedly after hours.
-
What if I'm still not sure about joining?Feel free to set up a virtual meet-and-greet with Dr. DiLorenzo.
-
